How do I book a session?
It all begins with a conversation. We’ll hop on a Discovery Call where I get to hear about your story — who you love most, what makes your family tick, and how you dream of seeing those moments in your home. Think of it more like planning a little love adventure. Once we’ve dreamt it up together, we’ll lock in a date just for you.

How far in advance should I book?
Milestones and holidays sneak up faster than we think, right? Most families reach out a couple of months ahead to make sure their special date is reserved. Planning ahead means you’ll have first pick on dates and time to get excited about the little details that make your experience unique.

Pricing & Payment

How much does a portrait experience cost?
Your investment is in moments — the laugh you never want to forget, the tiny hand you’ll always remember holding, the way your child looks at you right. Every family chooses differently — some fall in love with a timeless piece for the wall, while others design albums and curated collections that tell their full story. What you take home isn’t just a photograph — it’s custom artwork that become the heartbeat of your home, created exclusively for you. Packages begin at $750, and individual prints start at $250.

You decide what feels right for your family. Many of our clients choose to invest more, but there’s no pressure — this experience is about celebrating your love, in the way that matters most to you. What matters most is that your love story is told.

Do you offer payment plans?
Yes — because memories shouldn’t wait. With interest-free payment options, you can enjoy your artwork right away while paying in a way that feels easy. Your portraits will remind you daily of what matters most, long after the payments are done.

Session Preparation

What should we wear?
Here’s the secret: it doesn’t have to be complicated. You’ll get a prep guide full of styling tips and inspiration, plus we’ll chat through your ideas together. The goal isn’t perfection — it’s making sure you feel like yourselves, confident, connected, and ready to shine. And if someone insists on wearing their favorite shoes or tutu? Sometimes that’s the magic we’ll want to remember most.

Can we include pets in the session?
I adore pets, but since my studio is also my family’s home, we aren’t able to welcome furry family members inside. I know — they’re part of your family! Thank you for understanding — it helps keep the studio a comfortable space for everyone we welcome here.

During the Experience

How long does a session last?
Most experiences last about an hour or so. Long enough for real connections to happen, but short enough to keep everyone happy. And if we need snack breaks, wiggle breaks, or just a minute to breathe — we build that right in. This is about you, not the clock.

What if my child doesn’t cooperate?
Honestly? That’s part of the magic. Kids aren’t meant to sit perfectly still — they’re meant to giggle, explore, and sometimes be a little bit wild. I’ve photographed hundreds of keiki, and I promise, even when it feels chaotic, I see the beauty in those moments. Some of the most cherished portraits come from the unplanned laughter or a sweet snuggle in between.

After the Session

When will I see my portraits?
Within about a week, we’ll meet again for your Cinematic Reveal — the moment you get to see your portraits for the very first time. Tissues are optional but recommended. Together we’ll design the artwork that tells your story best, whether that’s an album to flip through or art for your walls.

What kinds of products do you offer?
We specialize in heirloom artwork — pieces you’ll want to hold, proudly display, and pass down. Handcrafted albums, fine art prints, and wall art designed to fit beautifully in your home. These aren’t meant to live on a USB in a drawer — they’re made to be loved every single day.

Artwork & Legacy

Why should I invest in professional portraits?
Because one day, these portraits will mean the world to your children. They’ll see the love that surrounded them, the way you looked at them, and the laughter that filled your home. Professional portraits are more than “just pictures.” They’re proof of love, turned into art, that your family can hold onto forever.

Do you archive our portraits?
Yes. When you purchase portraits, we archive them safely so you can reorder in the future. It’s like having a treasure chest where your family’s love story is kept, just waiting to be revisited.

Studio Policies

What is your rescheduling policy?
Life with kids (and adults!) is full of surprises. If you need to reschedule, just let us know at least 48 hours in advance and we’ll find another date. Sick days and emergencies happen — we get it, and we’ll take care of you.

Do you travel for sessions?
Every story I tell is created within my Mililani studio. That space is carefully designed so you can relax, connect, and be fully present while I guide you through the experience. It’s where the light, the sets, and the little details all come together to celebrate your family in the most beautiful way. By keeping everything in-studio, I can ensure the experience is consistent, comfortable, and centered entirely on you.
