It is amazing the changes in your baby during the first year of life. We have discovered that there are distinct milestones in a baby's development from birth through the first year, and we help you remember those special stages. We have a plan for you to cherish each milestone.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

AS NEW PARENTS, WHEN SHOULD WE SCHEDULE OUR BABY'S NEWBORN SESSION?

This magical stage passes in the blink of an eye. Newborn portraits are captured during the first six weeks, though ideally within the first 14 days, while your little one is well-fed, sleepy and content. In addition to photographing baby, parents and family member may be included.

HOW DO I PLAN FOR MY BABY'S PORTRAIT SESSION?

Newborn sessions are generally scheduled at 10am as babies are in a deep sleep at this time of day, after a nice, warm bath and a good long feeding . You are welcome to bring your own props, but no pressure. We have plenty!😉

Baby sessions, other than newborn, are often scheduled in the morning hours while babies are well rested, well fed and very happy! You may bring 1-3 outfits and we have plenty of props to work with that are developmentally appropriate. However, you are also welcome to bring your own.

WHAT DOES MY BABY WEAR?

What better way to photograph a newborn than in their birthday suit! In addition, swaddles and diaper covers work well. Newborns are generally too small for outfits.

For three and six month sessions, babies are photographed naked, their diaper and in one outfit. Babies don't like to change clothes.

At the nine and twelve month sessions, three outfits are recommended, because little ones are no longer being photographed naked.

MY HUSBAND WANTS TO KNOW HOW LONG THIS SESSION WILL TAKE?

Newborn sessions can take anywhere from 1.5 hours to 4 hours. Your baby is in charge, so don't worry about a thing. There will be enough time for your perfect portraits to be created. It is recommended that you bring snacks and drinks for everyone. Design consultations are scheduled for a separate day within a week following the portrait session.

At the three, six, nine and twelve month sessions, your session will last up to 1.5 hours. It will be fun, fast-paced and full of laughter! You will also have the option to schedule your design consultation the same day to view and order your portraits.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE PHOTO SESSION?

First the portrait session, followed by the design consultation, either the same day or within a week afterwards. We will help you design the perfect art for your home to celebrate your little one.

Custom artwork and portraits are available for pickup 2 - 4 weeks following.
